General ward is a common unit where patients who are admitted share the same room. The ward is equipped with health monitoring systems with one-to-one care assistance for patients as required. Facilities are catered as per patient’s diagnosis, age, comfort and other essential factors.

At most of the medical facilities, there are separate male and female general wards. Wards for female patients follow guidelines that are independent from the other types of general wards. To accompany female patients, only female family members or friends are allowed to wait at the healthcare facility.

Semi Private ward is defined as a hospital room where two to three patients are accommodated and which has attached toilet facilities and necessary furnishings. General ward is defined as hall that accommodates four to ten patients.

Private Rooms are single occupancy, air-conditioned rooms with attached a bathroom, television, telephone facilities, one easy chair with centre table, refrigerator and a sofa cum bed for the attendant.

The suite is an exclusive room that comprises an additional private room for the attendant. The room comes with a carafe, dining table, fruit bowl that is served once a day, and vegetarian meals for the patient’s relatives or attendants. Any other food item ordered from room service menu would be additionally charged, as are items consumed from the mini fridge in the room.
